Heron Crossing Farm is located in the meandering Sheepscot Valley in the mid-coast area of Maine. Fields, farms, and forest hug the banks while salmon, trout, beaver and otters enjoy its cool pools and fresh streams.
Heron Crossing Farm is home to a variety of fiber animals. Including: Finnish Landrace Sheep, Angora Rabbits, an occasional Angora Goat, and a wonderful guard Llama named Galloway. We turn their warm, soft, and silky wool into roving, yarn, and felt batts for use by crafters and artists.
